This guide covers how to export a checklist items to Excel, where you can conveniently fill it out, and then import it back into StreamBIM. This process is designed to save clicks and streamline your workflow, making project management more efficient.
It's also possible to rely solely on Excel for creating checklists. Attached to this article is an Excel file that you can use as a starting point when creating your checklists.
1. With the edit checklist window open, click on the "meatball menu" to proceed and choose Export as excel
2. By default, each item is checked. Keep this setting and click "OK" to continue
3. Once the checklist is exported, it's presented as a table, including all checklist items for easy review and fill out
At this stage, you can fill out the necessary details, save your changes, and then seamlessly import the updated checklist back into StreamBIM. To add new items, clear the table except for the headers or first row. Note: Keeping existing items will result in duplicates.
