This plugin allows you to connect directly to your project and handle issues within Revit. You can upload documents, create tasks, and manage project details efficiently, all from one place. It’s a practical tool to keep everything organized and accessible.
1. StreamBIM BCF Connector
After installation, a new tab called StreamBIM will appear. Open the plugin to get started.

2. Log in with same credentials as StreamBIM

3. Select project
All your StreamBIM projects will appear here. Select the correct project to connect to.

4. Settings tab
Here, you can adjust the language, region, and font size. You can also log out if needed and see which project you’re currently connected to.

5. IFC tab
You can upload new IFC files or revisions of existing IFC files. You can also view a list of uploaded files and search for a specific file.
- To upload IFC files directly from Revit to StreamBIM, select the desired folder and click upload.
- To add a revision to an existing IFC file, select the file in the IFC tab of the plugin and choose upload.

6. Export IFC
Modify your IFC export settings and start the export.

7. Capture tab
In this tab, you can view all your issues, filter by workflow, status, assignee, and favorites, and search for specific issues.

9. Issue handling in the plugin
Open an issue to navigate directly to the object, add a new viewpoint, or leave a comment.
- You can edit topics here, and the changes will update in StreamBIM.

10. Click here to create a new issue

11. New topic
Fill out the required fields, select a workflow, and click "Post".
- Selected objects in Revit will also be selected in the StreamBIM viewer and visa versa.
