You can customise StreamBIM settings from the Settings page. Select the “System” tab, then scroll down to “Settings”.

The settings selected here will be saved on your device. The in-app explanations are relatively straightforward, so we will only provide an overview here.

The available settings are explained as follows:
 

General Settings:

• Language - Select your preferred language
• Device Mode - Automatically detects your device type, but can be manually overridden.
   

Notification Settings:

Configure settings to manage notifications from StreamBIM:

• Document changes
• New IFC file publications
• Topic and workflow update summaries
• Push notifications and direct email delivery
   

Advanced Settings:

Configure viewer settings:

• Navigation Mode
• High Resolution - Setting this to “Off” reduces the amount of triangle data StreamBIM loads onto your device. Only necessary for very old devices.
• Edges - Toggle on/off the display of object edges.
• Shadows - Toggle on/off the display of shadows. Enabling shadows may reduce display performance.
