Setting up an Interaxo document integration
StreamBIM supports for synchronizing folders and files from Interaxo. This is a one-way sync where Interaxo is the source.
To prepare a project for sync from Interaxo to StreamBIM follow these steps:
- Contact Tribia support and request StreamBIM sync. Tribia support will:
- Enable API access on the Interaxo project. API access is an optional extra that the Interaxo project owner needs to request from Tribia AS.
- Interaxo support will supply an email with the information you need to configure sync: a sync username and password.
- The Interaxo sync user must have read-only access to the Interaxo folders you want to sync.
- Contact StreamBIM support and ask for the Interaxo sync feature to be enabled on the StreamBIM project.
- Follow the steps below to configure Interaxo in StreamBIM
- Go to StreamBIM settings and the "Interaxo sync" page, shown below
- Fill Community ID and Room ID. These are found in the URL for your Interaxo project:
- In the field for Root Folder ID, provide the Interaxo folder GUID for the folder(comma separated if more than one folder) you want to sync from Interaxo. Leave this field blank if you want to sync everything from the Interaxo project.
- After the fields are filled, you can click on "login" and use the Interaxo sync username and password provided by Tribia. The status should change to green "Configured correctly"
There are two further option for filtering the sync files:
- Steps to be included (Interaxo steps)
- File extensions - Limit the sync to specific file types.
Import Interaxo metadata
The metadata labels attached to the documents synced from Interaxo can be copied to StreamBIM. To do this, create the same label groups in StreamBIM as you have in Interaxo.
Documents in StreamBIM can be filtered using metadata from Interaxo
