In StreamBIM, Reports is an essential function that streamlines the oversight of construction project standards and compliance. This feature enables users to generate, fill, and track reports systematically. Beyond these capabilities, the feature also includes options for sharing these reports. This guide will provide a step-by-step approach to utilizing the Reports for inspections.
1. Click on Capture
2. Click on Reports
3. Click the "+" symbol to create a report using the "INSPECTION" template.
4. Give the report a name "Inspection of apartment 01"
5. "Click to add" participants and get a list of all project members. From there, select the individuals you wish to include.
6. Complete the remaining sections of the form.
7. Click on Start inspection
After completing the general information, it's time to topics from the capture into your report. This involves selecting existing topics from the capture feature or creating new ones to include. If you're unfamiliar with creating topics, please consult the provided link here
8. Select topics to include the report
9. Click on Add to report 'Inspection of apartment 01'
10. Click on Capture to go back
11. Click on Reports to open the report
12. Click on Stop inspection to finish adding topics
13. Click on Start inspection to add more topics
14. Click on Finalize report
15. Finalize report by clicking on generate
When ready to share the report via email, a prompt will appear for you to make selections, such as image size and the option to email the report directly.
16. After report is generated
Once the report is created, it cannot be edited, the edit (pen) icon disappears, and details about who finalized the report and when will be displayed at the top. If you click on this a pdf file of the reported is downloaded

A duplicate of the report is created with the original name plus "_copy" at the end, and this copy is placed beneath the original report in the system.
