Capturing a topic in StreamBIM basic enables you to communicate issues in design, the physical built or design versus the physical built. You can also use it for documenting your work e.g. through photos.
The great advantage of capturing in BIM is that all data get a location. I.e. you know the exact location of a photo or an issue.
A topic in basic has the fields Location, Shared with, attachments (2D/3D/Photo/document) and a message/description.
- Location is given by the position in the model
- Shared with can be used to share the topic with all users in the project, i.e. the group @Project. Alternatively you can save it as a personal note/memo.
- Attachments is by default an image of the 2D and 3D position where the topic has been created. You can also add photo and documents to a topic.
- In the message you can "mention" groups or persons of which you want to communicate (e.g. the design team)

NOTE: StreamBIM will remember your previous post and which channel you used, so unless you change channel in the Capture filter, it will be posted in the same channel. Which channel you are in is stated in the heading. To change channel, select "the filter" to the left of the heading.
